Message tee shirts are a good thing, as long as the message is not a negative one.  In GLAMOUR’S Big Book of DO’s and DON’TS“if you wouldn’t say it to your neice, DON’T say it on your shirt”.  I agree wholeheartedly.

In an earlier post I mentioned the “Life is Crap” shirts.  A friend of mine was at the LA Apparel Mart recently and called me today to say she saw those there.  We both wonder if they sell.  I have never seen anyone wearing one.   I also have seen some t-shirts that just say things I don’t know how a person feeling comfortable wearing.  To each his own, I guess, but for now I encourage you to only buy and wear things that say something that you could say to your niece, your child or your mom.  And Chickatees shirts would meet this criteria!
